MICHAEL GESTER,
Secretary of Our Lady of Joy (Kentish Town) Ward,
will be cycling across
France
to join the Society’s Pilgrimage in September.
Michael hopes to
complete his solo journey of more than 1,000 miles
(1,600 kms) from
London
to
Lourdes
in about fourteen days.
He has two aims: to increase awareness of the work of The Society
and
to
raise money to help us support young pilgrims
going to
Lourdes
and Walsingham.
In this he has already received the blessing and sponsorship of
The Right Rev'd Robert Ladds, Superior General of The
Society,
and The Right Rev'd John Broadhurst, Bishop of Fulham.
