The Solemn Mass was presided over by the Rt Revd Tony Robinson Bishop of Pontefract
 

The NW Ward & Forward in Faith went on Pilgrimage to Ladyewell on Saturday 7th June 2008.
The Principal Celebrant was the Rt Rev’d Tony Robinson, Bishop of Pontefract. The preacher was Fr John Gribben CR.

A Rosary Procession set out from S. Mary’s Parish Church at 12.00 noon in glorious sunshine.
On arrival at the Shrine a Solemn Mass was celebrated with music organised by members of S. Michael’s Church, Peel Green. Over 400 people received Holy Communion.

New members of the Society were admitted at the well by Fr Ian Brooks.

After a picnic lunch there was Sprinkling at the Well.

The pilgrimage concluded with Benediction given by Fr Hoole the RC Administrator of the Shrine.
